Installation & support
CRM Pilot works in private Bitrix24 chats and in a Chrome side panel. An administrator sets it up; each employee activates their own access.
Install the Bitrix24 application
- Open CRM Pilot’s listing in Bitrix24 Market and choose Install. The public listing is currently being prepared; contact EMCsoft for installation assistance.
- Review the requested CRM, Tasks, Users (minimum) and Chat bots permissions. Your portal must support REST applications and Chatbots 2.0.
- Enter your first name, last name, work email and phone in the installation form. Accept the EULA and read the Privacy Policy. These contact details are required for installation and support, not marketing enrollment.
- Select Install app. Keep the page open while CRM Pilot registers its bot and finishes installation.
- In Connections, select an employee. Choose Bitrix24 chat, Chrome extension, or both. Add the employee and use Permissions to configure read, create or create-and-edit access for each entity.
Activate employee access
The assigned employee must open CRM Pilot from their own Bitrix24 account once. An administrator cannot activate another employee’s authorization. If chat is enabled, the employee receives a welcome with an activation link. Once active, open the CRM Pilot bot chat and send a question.
Install the optional Chrome extension
- Download the current extension ZIP and unzip it into a folder you will keep.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome and enable Developer mode. - Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder containing
manifest.json. - Open CRM Pilot’s side panel. Paste the personal key provided by your administrator and select Connect.
- If activation is required, follow the portal link and open the app under your own account. Then return to the side panel.
The backend address is built in. Enter sends a question; Shift+Enter adds a line break. To update, download the latest ZIP, replace the extension folder contents and select Reload at chrome://extensions. Your organization may block unpacked extensions; use Bitrix24 chat instead.
Use optional page context
In the Chrome side panel, select the option to include the current page and grant access to that exact HTTPS site. Review the selected tab before sending. CRM Pilot captures its URL, title and sanitized visible HTML; it excludes scripts, hidden fields and input values. You can revoke the site permission in Chrome.
Reinstall or remove
Reinstall the same application to rerun setup and refresh bot registration. Existing employee settings remain when the same active installation is reused. If you remove the application, stored access is revoked and queued work is cancelled. Reinstalling after removal requires fresh employee connections. CRM records created by your instructions remain in Bitrix24.
